What forms of mourning can be practiced?
Must this process of mourning be visible?

Verlorene Flügel reflects on the possibility of sustaining hope within experience of social death. A candle is formed  that does not easily extinguish a quiet persistence amid erasure. The scapula, becomes a metaphor for hope as a gesture of resilience. It does not signify wing, rather the endurance of the body’s capacity to hold mourning within transformation. Petals shaped nest creats a fragile dwelling, a house where candles and hopes are sheltered rather than exposed.
